Business Success Through Diversity

Disability Equals Business was a time-limited initiative, funded by the European Social Fund, which ended in December 2007. Between Sep 2005 and Dec 2007, Disability Equals Business had contact with over 2,000 Sussex businesses and was highly successful in helping to build the disability confidence of many of these businesses by providing them with training and consultancy. Disability Equals Business also worked towards building a sustainable legacy with its partners, and worked with local public bodies to support them to extend their influence on local businesses, so that they are encouraged to include disabled people in their workforces and in their service provision.
